The City has a few of the top museums on the entire planet in reality it has many hundreds of museums & exhibitions both large and small. Normally repetition annoys me; in this case, it comes across to you in seamless fashion. This approach allows you to absorb the meaning and the music all at once. Exotic instruments like the Digeridoo and the Bonsuri Flute, amongst others, are employed to create the necessary atmosphere. This creativity and knowledgeable use of instruments invents a world beat that goes in a jazz-pop-new age direction.

I noticed that the rhythm section is in complete synchronicity, which is key in demonstrating and delivering the command over you, the listener. I do not have the opportunity to hear music like this that often so it was a welcome and appreciated change. With music that has so much to offer, so many facets and moods, there is something for everyone. If you are looking for something different and want to relax, this music will set you up for your own personal nirvana.

Just who are some of the biggest casino winners in Vegas? The
answer might surprise you. It’s not the professional poker
players or the people that are paying the $100 slots that are
winning big. It is people just like you and me that are just
keeping the seat warm and taking a chance on the slots. The
biggest winners on record are all winners of the Megabucks
jackpot. The jackpot starts at $7 million and goes up from there
until there is a mega winner.

For one lucky man, lightning or rather a jackpot has struck
twice. At the age of 92, Elmer Sherwin won his second Megabucks
jackpot. Mr. Sherwin won $21 million almost 16 years after his
initial win of 4.6 million in the same jackpot game. Both of Mr.
Sherwin’s jackpots were won in Las Vegas and were part of the
Megabucks network of progressive slot machines. He will receive
his winnings in annual installments but said that he had plans
to donate his winnings to victims of Hurricane Katrina. His
first jackpot win had allowed him to travel the world, now he
wanted to give back.

Another big winner was Amy Nishimura from Hawaii. At 71, Ms.
Nishimura was visiting Las Vegas on vacation and hit the $8.9
million Megabucks jackpot at the Freemont hotel after spending
about $100 on the slots. Ms. Nishimura was another winner of the
Megabucks network that is linked to over 150 casinos across
Nevada. More players mean a higher payout for the lucky winners.
She said that she had had dreams about her win before she hit
the jackpot.

The largest jackpot ever won in Vegas was $39.7 million and was
won in March of 2003 at the Excalibur casino. The lucky winner
was a 25-year-old man from Los Angeles that turned a $100 stint
at the slots into the biggest win ever recorded. The instantly
wealthy man was visiting Vegas for the NCAA basketball
tournaments and just sat down at the slot machine to play for a
while. He walked away with a whopping 1.5 million dollar payout
for the next 25 years.

While we can all dream, the big winners are all just like you
and me. They decided to sit down and take a chance and lady luck
was on their side. As Mr. Sherwin has proven, lady luck doesn’t
always only strike once.

A guide to getting a sound and trouble shooting A good sound
starts from the fingers, through the pick-up to the guitar and
out. If you don’t start there, you’re spinning in circles and
end up with a transparent (fuzzy) sound without body and
response. “Your fingers are your tone generators”. Not the amps
or pedals. Those are tools to augment your expression. That’s
what guitar lessons teach you, not teaching you a song without
teaching you, and guiding you in technique.

And, if you learn a thing or two about trouble shooting “on the
fly”, you’ll go down the line to find the problem with your rig.
The same goes for finding your sound. When establishing your
sound you start with your technique, through the pick-up on down
to the amp. With trouble shooting on stage, you should start
with the amp and go down the line back to you, which make’s
sense. Since you’ve established your rig set up. As you’re
trying to fix what was working, you back track.

This saves time and controls moods, besides the over all
situation’s under control. Then, if and when you need to use a
stage tech, you’ll have a template in which to explain what it
is you require from the person “you” hire. There’s nothing more
frustrating than hiring someone, that has no idea what it is you
need or want. Imagine working for someone without a clue. A band
leader who expects you to read his mind? Communication starts
with a plan.

Good luck and sound good, where ever your muse takes you, find a
clue.

It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to - la la, la la la. Okay, so I don’t know the words to the song but I do know bringing a dog or cat to a party needs to be approved first by the party host. Double check the front of the party invitation, who was it addressed to? Did it include your pet? If not, then a friendly chat with the host should be done before bringing your animal. It is an easy oversight, even if the invitation was engraved, to forget inviting a pet. So use kindness when speaking with the host. It is not recommended asking the host if your pet can come to a few types of events like a wedding,
baby shower,
baby naming
party or bridal shower
. Once the host agrees to your pet coming to the party, there is a few simple rules of etiquette to follow.

First, be sure to have your pet brings the hostess a gift, like gift baskets
or flowers. In addition, bring the hostesses pets party favors.
Next, bring along extra pooper scoopers. Have your pet dressed appropriately like wearing a bandana or
Halloween costume. If it is a theme party like luau,
Mardi Gras,
Super Bowl,
Christmas, Hanukkah, or other
holiday choose a festive matching pet outfit. Animals tend to have different diets, so bringing along pet food and bottled water is a good idea, too. Be thoughtful by bringing your own bowls and placemat for when your pet dines. Your pet should not rely on the hostess for any special
requirements. So, don’t expect the hostess to provide your pet with a
party favor. Although the hostess might invite your pet, not all hostesses will think ahead of time about having party supplies for your pet,
too. Thus, prepare your pet for any possible disappointment. Remember, glow sticks
are not pet friendly party favors.
